Episode 72: How to Create Great Content
Learn why a positive mindset is important in developing consistently superb material.
Content marketing is extremely effective at cultivating your personal brand. It helps build credibility, nurture authority and educate your audience on why you’re the right choice.
When it comes to creating a successful content marketing strategy that delights customers and produces inbound leads without spending a dime, consistency is key – but at times, it’s often hard to accomplish. What happens when life gets in the way and you’ve come up with every excuse not to complete that blog post, record that podcast or compose that tweet? While consistency is key, honoring the commitment you’ve made to yourself and your professional goals is how you’ll maintain success.
“Sometimes the best content is the content I needed to hear that day.” – Kirby Hasseman
It’s a lesson that Kirby Hasseman, owner of Hasseman Marketing & Communications, learned early in his professional career. Hasseman cut his teeth in the promotional products industry, going door-to-door in his assigned sales territory, often refusing to end his day until he had made a sale. Married with a daughter at home, Hasseman thought about the sustainability of what he was doing and even more importantly, who he wanted to emulate in his career. He considered some of his professional idols and noticed one thing they had in common: they were producing high-quality content, consistently. With a sense of determination, Hasseman dived headfirst into content marketing and the rest, as they say, is history.
In this episode, ASI Media’s Melissa Newman chats virtually with Hasseman about his content marketing empire, a kismet meeting with best-selling author Seth Godin and how personal development helped him to create the right mindset for success.
