Episode 66: Pandemic, Pivoting & Game Night: A Promo Distributor’s Story

The husband-and-wife team behind Pride Products discusses a new business opportunity borne out of the COVID-19 crisis.

When business came to a screeching halt last spring, many promo companies had to pivot and sell PPE just to make ends meet. One distributor based in New Jersey took it a step further.

Wendy Ferber and Andy Nadel, the husband-and-wife team behind Pride Products, made a crucial decision during the pandemic that led to a new business opportunity called ConnectRship. Borne out of a desire to stay connected with clients as everyone went remote, and based on a love of game night, this new venture provides clients with a fun virtual game experience that assists in developing and maintaining relationships.

In this insightful Social Angle podcast, ASI Media’s Vinnie Driscoll talks to Nadel and Ferber about this pivot, the success they’ve had with their new business ventures, including ConnectRcentral, and, of course, their use of social media. They also end the podcast with a fun game of trivia.
