Protect yourself from legal ramifications with these great tips.
Thinking about running a contest for your business, and maybe even hosting it on your social media platforms? Do yourself a favor and do your research.

But that’s not all you have to worry about. When naming your contest, beware of trademarks.
“We could have gone with ‘Merch Madness’ as the name of our ASI Promo Insanity contest,” says CJ Mittica, ASI Media’s editor in chief. “But we would have opened ourselves up to legal action by the NCAA,” which has trademarked the phrase ‘March Madness.’
In this informative and eye-opening Social Angle podcast, Vinnie and CJ talk about the dos and don’ts of running a contest, how you can protect yourself from legal ramifications, and who they think will win ASI Promo Insanity. This episode is a slam dunk!
