Episode 52: How I Got My Biggest Promo Client Ever with Facebook Live!
Screen-printer Jamie Young shares the secret sauce!
At the urging of her speaking coach, Jamie Young – the founder of WA-based Uptown Screen Printing (asi/184812) – went live on Facebook for the first time. Just a few days later she picked up her biggest client ever.
“I got a message from someone who wanted to chat about growing their business through generosity,” says Young. “And this was the first time someone wanted to pay me around strategy and how to grow your business with swag!”
In this fun and light-hearted interview – first recorded during a Facebook Livestream* – Jamie talks with Vinnie Driscoll about how she was able to overcome her fears and go live, what she talked about, and why you, too, should be harnessing the power of going live on social media.
"The most engagement I get is when I show the printing of shirts. People want to see the nitty gritty, not the pretty polished side." –Jamie Young
