Industry veteran and motivational speaker Cliff Quicksell, a fixture at ASI trade shows, knows a thing or two about public speaking. He’s been doing it for most of his professional life and has spoken in front of crowds as large as 3,000 people.

But public speaking didn’t come naturally to Quicksell.

“Like any craft, you have to work at it,” he says. “Take artist Vincent van Gogh. I’m sure there were a lot of paintings he threw out.”
