What’s the Future of Sales Roles, Manufacturing Work & Other Jobs in the AI Age?
David Espindola, a technologist, futurist and author who just penned a book on artificial intelligence and humanity, answers that question and related important ones from both practical and profound perspectives.
Call it AI anxiety.
As artificial intelligence and robotics rapidly evolve, there’s an understandable amount of concern about how the technology will impact jobs – and, of course, all aspects of the human experience.
David Espindola gets that.
A futurist, technologist, consultant and author, Espindola addresses such topics from practical and profound perspectives in his new book Soulful: You In The Future of Artificial Intelligence.
In this Promo Insiders podcast hosted by ASI Media’s Christopher Ruvo, Espindola delves into some of the big questions around subjects like AI’s impact on sales/office work and manufacturing, as well as how businesses and professionals should strive to evolve with AI. He goes deeper too, discussing what it means to be human at a time when the capabilities of artificial intelligence are swiftly accelerating.
One sneak-peek takeaway? There’s potentially much to be optimistic about.
“There’s a lot of change that’s going on and people don’t know where these things are going and it’s natural to be scared,” Espindola says. “But I think we need to balance the pessimism that we see out there with some optimistic views and possibilities as well. I like to lean toward the optimistic view. One thing to consider is that for the first time in human history, we have everything we need to create a future in which we can create sustainable abundance.”
