Promo Insiders: Breaking Down Promo’s Q3 Growth, Cost Pressures & What’s Next
Counselor editors share takeaways from the Q3 sales report, including uneven sales growth, challenges with shipping delays and continued industry persistence.
The promo industry grew sales 3.4% in the third quarter, even as that growth was unevenly spread across distributor sizes and economic or supply chain difficulties continued to mount.
“It feels like it’s just stacking,” said Nate Kucsma, ASI’s senior executive director of research. “It’s stacking challenges.”
“A lot of the distributors I spoke with said, ‘Tariffs are old news – now we’re concerned about freight delays and oil prices,’” added Tara Lerman, Counselor’s digital news editor.
In this week’s episode of Promo Insiders, Kucsma and Lerman join Counselor’s Data Analytics Editor Hannah Rosenberger to break down our recent Q3 promotional products industry sales data – including, importantly, why people are still spending on promo, and where distributors are finding success amid an uncertain economy.
