Preparing for the Return of Live Events
With vaccination rates rising and state restrictions lifting, live events are making a comeback.
Warming weather and states reopening are factors paving the way for the return of live events across the country – both within the promotional products industry and other industries. ASI Chicago returns to McCormick Place from July 13-15, followed immediately by the Chicago Auto Show – billed as the nation’s largest auto show and rescheduled from February. The return of trade shows and events spells opportunity for the industry, but in many ways, 2021 will be a transition period back to normalcy. Many shows and events will continue to have heightened safety protocols and built-in distancing, at least in the short term. In this episode of Promo Insiders, Theresa Hegel, ASI Media executive editor of digital content, and Tricia Walter, manager of corporate events at ASI, talk about what trade shows are going to look like this year and how promo pros can prepare.
