Proforma (asi/300094) has announced that Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, has accepted an invitation to join Proforma in a celebration of ProVision, its new business management technology platform. Wozniak will be taking the stage with Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo in a discussion about the early days of Apple, his partnership with Steve Jobs, and his vision for the future of technology. “I have always said that ‘wherever smart people work, doors are unlocked’ and clearly Proforma is unlocking doors to the future in this industry,” Wozniak said. The invite-only event takes place January 12, 2020, at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Superior Group of Companies reported Wednesday that its promotional products division generated sales of $26.46 million during 2019’s third quarter, a nearly 38% year-over-rise. BAMKO (asi/131431), a Top 40 distributorship, spearheads Superior’s promo division. The division also features Public Identity and Tangerine Promotions, both of which BAMKO previously acquired. For the nine months ended Sept. 30, Superior’s global promo segment sales are up 24% over 2018 to $70.56 million, the company reported.
