Proforma Owners Nominated for Inc. 5000
The Inc. 5000 measures private companies’ overall revenue growth over a three-year period.
Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) is in growth mode. The company announced that 47 of its owners were nominated onto the Inc. 5000, an annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America based on revenue increases from 2019 to 2022.
It’s the largest group of nominees Proforma has ever had, according to the distributor. To qualify, Proforma looked for owners that demonstrated more than 25% sales growth from 2019 to 2022, though some of the nominees saw three-year growth as high as 800%. According to Inc. magazine, nominees must be privately held, for profit, based in the U.S. and have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2019 and at least $2 million in 2022.
“Being nominated for an award such as this is an incredible honor,” said Tony Pupo, owner of Logo Print & Promo. “Through Proforma’s guidance, I have been able to go above and beyond what I thought was possible for my business.”
Proforma attributes owners’ successes to Provision, its business management platform, and ProStores, its e-commerce solutions. The distributor also points to the coaching, sales and marketing programs it offers owners.
“Every record one of our distributor owner’s breaks is another affirmation of our network-wide success,” said Greg Armstrong, chief sales officer at Proforma. “We are honored to empower our distributor owners with the tools and support they need to break new ground in the industry.”
The 2023 Inc. 5000 list will be published on Inc.’s website in August, according to the business publication.
Proforma ranked fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of Top 40 distributors, with reported 2021 North American promotional products revenue of $540.8 million. The new list will be released later this month.
