JERZEES (asi/40650) has introduced the new Snow Heather collection in French Terry and Jersey. A soft, vintage-inspired apparel line that’s new for the brand, the collection includes the French Terry raglan crew, raglan hood and a ladies’ raglan full-zip hood. Those items are available in 11 Snow Heather colors. Meanwhile, the related Snow Heather Jersey line features distinctive, vintage tees with a super-soft hand and classic fit, JERZEES says. The polyester-cotton blended jersey fabric is available in 14 Snow Heather colors. “This collection is unlike any other product we’ve launched,” said Jeff Traen, director of marketing at Fruit of the Loom Activewear and JERZEES. “The slubbed, vintage-inspired fabric adds visual interest to the garment that elevates JERZEES apparel offerings.”

HanesBrands (asi/59528) has partnered with nonprofit group Free The Girls to help women rescued from human trafficking re-establish their lives. More than 200 of the company’s retail outlets are collecting new and gently used bras to assist the nonprofit in helping women in Mozambique, El Salvador and Costa Rica become entrepreneurs in the secondhand apparel market.

Orbus Exhibit & Display Group (asi/75209) announced it has raised over $9,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the past six months through various activities, including a company-wide casual dress buy-in, shamrock grams and a chili cook-off. During the second half of 2019, Orbus will be fundraising for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, the Andrew Grene Foundation and host its annual Toys for Tots drive.

The Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) Foundation was named one of the inaugural inductees for the Happiness Is Camping Wall of Fame earlier this summer. Happiness is Camping is a nonprofit, ACA-accredited overnight camp for kids with cancer, ages 6-17, and their siblings.
