AIA Corporation Welcomes New Distributors

Already Gear, Coolperx and What’s Up Promotions! have joined AIA’s community.

Top 40 distributor AIA Corporation (asi/109480) has recently added three distributors to its community of nearly 300 independent Owners and more than 3,000 supplier partners. All have access to AIA’s financial, technical, sales, marketing and purchasing solutions.

Dallas-based Already Gear offers corporate customers a wide range of promotional marketing products and attentive customer service. Owners Teresa and Reginald Beaudoin each have over 20 years of industry experience. According to Teresa, partnering with AIA will enable Already Gear to grow its business without a ceiling. “With the strong financial backing and marketing expertise of AIA, we feel like a room without a roof,” Teresa said in a press release. Already Gear has 2019 projected sales of $1.5 million, she said.

Bellevue, WA-based Coolperx (asi/444038) is a woman-owned and service-disabled, veteran-owned company. After operating independently, owner Lu Cysewski rejoined AIA, seeking the financial backing and back-end support needed to take her business to the next level. “Since joining, I’ve appreciated the reporting and insights that AIA’s enterprise system provides,” Cysewski said. “I can quickly view important data like sales or commissions and make informed decisions. And, with AIA’s financial backing, I can confidently fund large orders.”

Kensington, MD-based What’s Up Promotions! specializes in promotional products, as well as large format and commercial printing. Owner Adam Kaplan has over 25 years of industry experience. According to Kaplan, AIA’s buying power, back office support and company stores solution drew him to AIA. “This partnership allows us to do what we do best, which is providing customers with unique promotional products and industry-leading service,” Kaplan said. “It relieves us of the day-to-day operational pieces that take time away from sales and growth.” Kaplan, along with vice president Brooke Duvall and sales manager Dani VanScoyk, lead a team of nine employees. The company’s projected 2019 sales place it in the top 10% of AIA Owners by sales volume.

“We’re thrilled that Already Gear, Coolperx and What’s Up Promotions! have chosen to partner with AIA to grow their businesses,” said AIA president and CEO Matt Gresge. “Each of these distributors embodies the values that AIA is built on -- smart, hungry, honest, collaborative and All In! -- and we look forward to helping them achieve their goals while bringing new efficiencies to their businesses.”

With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $189.8 million, AIA Corporation ranked 13th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry.
