Touchstone (asi/345631) announced it has acquired Freestyle Mktg (asi/198342). The Mason, OH-based distributor says the Freestyle brand and a number of Freestyle personnel will continue to service existing clients under the Touchstone brand. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

“We are excited to add the reputation of Freestyle Mktg into our organization and we welcome a group of very talented professionals to our team,” said Derek Block, founder and CEO of Touchstone. “This acquisition comes at a time of focused, but aggressive growth for us, and we look forward to a great year of new heights for our brand.”

Freestyle was founded in 1950 by David Stoll. The company, based in Scottsdale, AZ, is a third-generation family business and says it ranks in the top 5% of the promotional products industry.

Touchstone was founded in 1996 by Block. Last year the company made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately-held companies with 138% growth and $44.3 million in total revenue. Touchstone was named the fastest-growing distributor in the industry by Counselor in 2009, and was a Top 40 distributor for three years from 2012-2014.
