Proforma Launches Free Fundraising Program

The Community Fundraising Program helps local organizations sell branded merchandise to raise money.

Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) has launched a free fundraising program for local organizations. Through Proforma’s proprietary online pop-up stores, restaurants, retailers, nonprofits and other organizations can sell branded merchandise to raise money.

“This is a great example of how Proforma’s $15 million-dollar investment in technology can help our affiliate owners differentiate themselves in the market,” Brian Carothers, chief technology officer at Proforma, said in a press release. “Our proprietary pop-up store technology and its integration with our ProVision business management technology platform uniquely enables Proforma to seamlessly, easily and efficiently support these types of programs.”

Proforma’s Community Fundraising Program is supported by Proforma’s e-commerce solution platform ProStores. For example, William M. Resnick, owner of affiliate Proforma Printing and Promotion in Boston, was able to provide a local restaurant with a free online fundraising store that resulted in over $6,000 in merchandise sales.

“It’s incredible to see the impact our Affiliate Owners are making with this program,” said Vera Muzzillo, CEO of Proforma. “Bill’s story is a prime example of why we love what we do here at Proforma. In launching this program, we feel that many affiliate owners will be able to provide the necessary products and solutions to help local organizations thrive and support their own communities during these times and beyond.”

With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $378.8 million, Proforma ranked sixth on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry.
