Top 40 Suppliers 2018: No. 40 Starline

Following a two-year hiatus, Starline returns to the Top 40 after reporting 2017 sales of about $34 million, a year-over-year increase of 8%. The family-owned firm has two offices, including one in Canada, and counts about 6,300 distributors customers. In addition to its 19 in-house employee reps, the firm has 28 multi-line reps. For 2018, the supplier is forecasting sales of $38.2 million, which would represent an increase of more than 14%. Of note, Starline’s 2017 revenue is the lowest of any Top 40 supplier in more than five years, as consolidation of the industry’s largest firms becomes more evident.
