Why People Love to Work Here: “Our people take great pride in their work. They enjoy doing what they do and who they work with. We cultivate a family atmosphere where we all support each other. That camaraderie shines though in the quality of the work that we do creating amazing, memorable wine gifts.”

Fun Things: “We did a company fun day where we took a social cycle for an afternoon pub crawl in the Gas Lamp district in San Diego. A social cycle is a 20-person bicycle. It’s a bit hard to describe, but it was a blast and a nice diversion. We often taste wine at work. We take pride in knowing our product really well, so it’s not uncommon to uncork a bottle or two in the afternoon and get to know our product and develop camaraderie.”

Recent Culture Initiatives: “We just recently took the entire company on an overnight wine-tasting trip to Temecula, which is the local wine region in Southern California. We had behind-the-scenes tours and tastings at a couple of restaurants, then had a company ‘retreat’ at the local casino. It really tied in well with what we do because it combined some educational elements with a whole lot of fun.” – Jim Ristuccia, COO
