Why People Love to Work Here: “People love to work here because they know they’re valued. When your hard work gets noticed and your contributions are acknowledged and encouraged, the motivation comes naturally to keep working hard and developing your skill set to grow the business.” – Cameron Niederhauser, sales executive
Fun Things: “DRI DUCK is constantly hosting fun events. Here are a few:
- Bring Your Child to Work Day: Parents are asked to bring their child to work with them on a specific day each year. The children spend a short amount of time in each department learning what their parents and coworkers do at work each day. They also walk away with a better understanding of DRI DUCK.
- College Colors Day: Employees are asked to wear their alma mater’s colors to work and root for their team at the beginning of football season! There is trivia throughout the day and food provided. There was also an optional 3K for those that wanted to participate.
- Thanksgiving Meal: Each year around Thanksgiving we celebrate around a giant potluck meal. Each department is responsible for providing a different food category, and the meat and the stuffing for the event are provided by DRI DUCK. The meal is wonderful and it is a great time to reflect on how thankful we are to work for such a great company!” – Abby Young, sales and marketing coordinator
Recent Culture Initiatives: “Every year our company holds a spirit week on our anniversary. The week has a different theme every year and each day is full of fun activities, dress-up events and food. On the very last day of the week, the employees take the second half of the day off to participate in a fun activity outside of the office. This year, the week was Vegas-themed and the Friday activity was a dodgeball tournament.” – AY
