As the head of the largest Canadian distributorship, Freed gains two spots on this year’s list. Genumark’s sales have been impressive: a nearly 10% increase over 2017, to $58 million in 2018, and 78% growth over the past five years. A past Bess Cohn Humanitarian Award winner, Freed is also often recognized for his company’s social and charitable endeavors. As this issue went to press, Counselor learned that Genumark purchased Toronto-based distributor Rightsleeve, further solidifying Freed’s strategic leadership and Genumark’s dominance in the Canadian promo market.
