Hard goods struggles via Prime Line contributed to a 10% sales decline in 2020 for alphabroder, with demand down due to lack of events and a push toward higher-end gifts. The company saw signs of recovery in Q1 of this year, specifically in apparel. There’s new leadership in place as well, after CEO Norm Hullinger and Prime President Jeff Lederer both departed the company in the past few months. Dan Pantano, who was serving as president of alphabroder, was named CEO in Hullinger’s place.
