A 48% year-over-year revenue increase in 2020 powered Stran into the Top 40 for the first time. While the company did well with PPE, the category accounted for less than 10% of total sales. (Stran also reports sales margins of 30%.) The odds-defying sales surge occurred in part because of the execution of an eight-figure campaign tied to the U.S. Census and the acquisition of distributor Wildman Imprints. “We also experienced strong organic growth,” says Stran President Andy Shape, “thanks to targeting customers who had immediate needs that we could deliver upon through creative product suggestions, effective supply chain management and the use of our technology tools.”
