As an early and aggressive adopter of PPE (30% of sales in 2020), Staples used its pivot as a springboard to increase revenue by 7%. The company also had a very strong fourth quarter. All told, Staples added $42 million in sales, which moves the distributor back into the number-two position after sliding one spot the previous year.
