St. Paul, MN-based supplier of hand-crafted corporate awards and gifts, Crystal D (asi/47759), recently announced a promotion and hire within its senior leadership.

Kyle Nordby, newly promoted director of operations, will now oversee all day-to-day operations and create a “high-functioning team with the right people in the right seats,” according to the company.

Joining the firm in 2013, Nordby was hired after a temporary role due to his experience with 3D modeling, which helped meet the increasing demand for 3D imprint orders, according to the firm . Climbing the ranks from lead 3D artist to production and subsurface manager, the company said that he implemented processes to help fulfill orders with precision and speed.

Meanwhile, Todd Hambrecht, new vice president of strategic accounts, is tasked with strengthening relationships with individuals in the awards industry through his leadership position on the sales team.

Hambrecht brings more than 20 years of experience within IT and packaging production, and enjoys providing business guidance to customers through the entire sales cycle, said Crystal D.
